Has anyone ever witnessed bot busting?

Featured Replies

Just curious what they do. Just got a bot busting offence on a slayer script, and was wondering how it happens. Do they walk up to you and ask questions and see if you reply or what?

More likely I'd imagine the bot was messing up, reported, and probably someone online checking out the live reports as they came in. Still curious if anyone has ever witnessed it (Not the large scale bot busting events)

i've seen vids of mods banning mass yew tree bots, or killing them. but that's it

I've seen vids on youtube of Jmods killing alching/fletching bots, they just 1hit them with poison.

Yeah those are the community bot busting events, I'm talking about the small scale bot busting.

I have on pre eoc like 2 years ago. A bot was stuck at yew trees in grand exchange and a J mod was there. I remember what he said. ''seems like his bot is broken...'' and then boom and he logged off after muting me for saying ''holy shit'' lmao

Im pretty sure all the mods now would be invisible otherwise we would be seeing them everywhere due to all these bot bustings lately

they usually become npcs, thats what ive seen

Lol, I think bot busting bans are only created for veteran accounts, and it's bullshit that they have Mods that actually check and see what your doing....like honestly...

They just banned 40,000 accounts in a month of April, by Mod Weath, and you think he has the time to just watch players and see if they're bots...?

FUCK NO

The system just got you, and since you're account's veteran, then you got a 2-day "bot-busting" moderate ban

Veteran accounts = 2 day ban first time, permanent if they catch you with 1 or more bot running on the same ip

Fresh accounts = permanent ban

See where I'm going here, I think all the mods going around "in-game" is merely a myth, lol.

It is a Myth, idk how people can still think that theres Mods going around and banning people...

Hmm wonder how they detected a slayer bot then, they are pretty complex and realistic.

Just like any other bot? I don't see the difference, the flax bots are also 'pretty complex and realistic. '

When you compare the bots mouse movements to a real player you'll understand
