thepecher
So you want info about bans,i'll share my info about all my bans i've gotten so far? In my opinion the only thing they detect is the general behaviour of the account. I have never been banned on an account that has quest/ other skills etc done on it. I only got banned on 99 wc accounts while goldfarming or f2p clay miners. I think the key is not to make an account that is so obvious. You see, when you are playing legit often you see a player in the world and you can immidiatly say "Yep, that's a bot". If we can do that, jagex can. The days of 30+ accounts on gdk wearing same outfit are over. I think the most noticable things are: -Combat level -Other skills (level up other skills and not only the skill you are botting) -Do other stuff on the account. -Quests ( i think this is so important, i've never been banned on a account that was recently questing NEVER) That is what i like to call "the macro anti botting system" the "micro anti botting system" would be related to: -Repetetive actions -walking -Mouse algorithms - script quality (getting stuck etc) - randoms(i think this is minimal, i fail more randoms while playing legit than when botting) I don't think jagex records all that data for all it's players (imagine the data size) so i think the "Macro system" is the important part and often overlooked.

Deffiliate
Never been banned: http://osbot.org/forum/topic/45618-preventing-rs-botting-bans/ Please don't respond if you'r egoing to deny there's a big issue here. I've followed your little guide-lines and went far beyond them (I know what smart botting is) and still suffered the wrath of Jagex plenty of times. I've literally been banned botting <20 hours (1-3 hr sessions) on a freshly bought bad-ass main, with multiple different account. This is at private locations with a private script. You're basically saying the fault is with the botter. The people of OSBot have tried lots of different shit, trust me, i know many gold-farmers and they're not stupid. The bottom-line is that the detectability while botting is just too high, even when using different botting techniques outlined in your thread. If we don't start providing a less detectable client we'll continue to lose business. I'm %100 sure that script sales figures this month have gone down drastically, and this is entirely due to the increasingly insane ban-rate. You're 100% correct on the micro/macro concept. I made a topic concerning this before, but it was deleted for some reason.... The task scheduler and web-walking will be great tools to help evade macro detection IMO. Anyways im off to go work my real job that i had to start at again because OSBot's dying. I'll put down some more of my thoughts on the matter when I return. Deffiliate please get OSBot to next level! T'is not something I could ever imagine doing on my own. I'm just here to get everyone motivated and focused on the task! It's funny that there are still some people that don't see the ban-rate as a problem 0-0 There's been some good discussion on the thread though, so we're moving in the right direction. nickdifusco
I believe we can revolt but I'd have to imagine that you make the bot paid only and then you'll get soldiers in this army but the time hasn't come yet. You're worrying too much, Have faith in the community and the botting cause.

Deffiliate
Bump, I still think these concepts could be explored. 2 of these were talked about devs for a long time.
