So I have 1 account that I have been using to bot sharks about 15-30 hours at a time that has 1250+ total level which has not been banned, I thought it would be a good idea to make another account to speed up the process yesterday and its already banned, I did waterfall quest and tut island legit then botted fishing to 20, flyfishing to 50 then left the bot on overnight fishing lobsters which got about 3k and 65 fish before ban.

Did I get banned because of the amount of time that I was on the account for since its fresh or because I only levelled 1 stat..? Anything I should do to stop that happening next time?

Your first mistake and one which will inevitably result in a ban is the amount of time you bot for. Realistically no human plays 15-30 hours so playtime is already a factor for which Jagex places your account under watch. 

 

I would recommend you utilize the Break Handler, have a good play time, good break time and decent break deviation and you can prevent this in the future. Botting for 15 hours is a big NO. Max you should bot in one session before breaking is 1-3 hours depending on the skill.

Cause you were blatantly botting. :| You don't just go straight fishing to 65 and not get banned. 

Things like fishing/woodcutting/mining are high ban rates due to mass gold farm

 

Also, they track/flag IP's, so if you get banned on one account, there's a chance that another account linked with your IP can get banned aswell

Would it be a good idea to change my IP before botting again, and would it be a better idea to train a lot of skills rather than just the one?

I apologise for the amount of questions, I am fairly new to botting.
