Theodore Bagwell Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I got the nexus 7 and i really love it! Would deffinitely recommand you this one as it has literally everything you need ("low" price, nice screen, fast etc.)
RoomScape Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 I'm torn between getting a tablet or an e-reader.You mean a kindle? Tablets are multi functional while those 'e-readers' aren't so much.
Axis Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 You mean a kindle? Tablets are multi functional while those 'e-readers' aren't so much. Yeah, I know. But reading off an LED/LCD screen makes my eyes hurt after a while. E-ink I can go all day, it's the only thing stopping me from going out and getting a Nexus 7. (I do a lot of reading.)
Botre Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Windows 8 tablets are great if not the best imo. Their only true disadvantage is the size of the app library in comparison to android and apple. I personally like hardware keyboards (because I hate writing on touchscreen keyboards (it's both impractical and you look clumsy in public :p)) but you can perfectly use windows 8 tablets without them. Axis Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 What about the Nexus 10? None of my friends have one, so I'm not sure. I usually reserve having an opinion on an item after I fuck with it for an hour or two. It's how I went from my iPhone 5C to a Nexus 5. (Such a better phone, shame Google is leaving the mobile market soon)
lolmanden Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) But it's $800. :| Money shouldn't be a problem for you since you are Nadhir the wise. Edited May 9, 2014 by lolmanden
RoomScape Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 Money shouldn't be a problem for you since you are Nadhir the wise.I don't feel like paying $800 for a tablet when I only paid $200 for my laptop.
BotRS123 Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Tell me what you end up getting. I original couldn't decide between an iPad and a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition, then I leaned towards the Note because it had better specs, and I like good specs. Then I decided it was pricey. Then I couldn't decide

RoomScape Posted May 10, 2014 Author Posted May 10, 2014 What did they say? It's equal or a tad better. The price is a bit same (note is $30 more) so it's not a big difference.

I checked the prices on Amazon and they are over $100 apart. I saw one review that said the Nexus 10 can't charge fast enough when you are playing games on it. I am not too big of a fan on its sides; it has an old design. I wonder if a newer version will come out any time soon.
