Explanation:

Basically I posted a thread saying i was trading my iTunes $25 giftcard for os rsgp. I handed out my skype and came across Asuna would agreed to pay me 10m for it. At first we were going to get a middle man, then I had him message me on osbot to verify his account so I could review it and see if we would even need a middle man because they usually want a share of the money. So i told him to send me a specific message so i knew it was him. After he did i reviewed his account and he had like 100% feedback and like 60 people leaving reviews/vouching. So i didn't think it was necessary to get a middle man. We chatted on skype for a while and he said i give code then he trades me 10m. He give me his rsn and everything but never showed me the money. So when i reached him in game, i traded him then sent him the code. he typed on skype "trade me" 2x and when i traded him he sat there and did nothing. He recovered the iTunes money and logged. Which i have all on video. He then changed his skype name, removed me, and ignored me in game. I messaged him then on OSBOT later and told him i have all the proof and he pretended like nothing even happened.

he sent the message i requested him too, and you can see his feedback and everything so it wasn't an imposter.

Then just after it happened, i messaged him and this was his response.

As you can tell, he made himself look good by his sponsorship saying he wouldn't scam. The youtube video is poor quality but if you pause it at certain times you can see him tell me to trade him then he logs, changes his skype name and then removes me. You notice him logging out in game too. I right clicked him then he disappeared. I later tried redeeming the code and it was indeed already recovered.

The user claims it was a private message trap, we will wait for them to respond with evidence.

Thank you.

User was impostering me.

We were clearly having separate conversations as the logs show with my first confirmation, which also say that I was in no condition to trade.

After reviewing the evidence, it was definitely an attempt at a private message trap. However, due to the fact that you didn't read the confirmation private message by @Asuna, the scam unfortunately occurred. If you had read the private message and realized that none of those messages were said within the conversation you were having with the impostor, you wouldn't have lost your money.

Nowhere in the Skype conversations you provided between you and the impostor does it state any of the messages above.

I hope this serves as a lesson and you will be a lot more careful when trading. Make sure the skype conversations match up with each other and that you compare the skype usernames to that of skype to the ones they have listed on your OSBot account.

I'm sorry for your loss.
