In the real world advertising means to willfully promote a product.

 

 

But I've seen instances where someone posted a screen shot showing something they were doing in game, and in the screen shot they were using another client, and they were nearly banned for doing so (I think this is a pretty good scenario to point out an extreme stretch of the rule)

 

 

So let's cement this shit out.

 

 

 

The rules are that you are not allowed to advertise a direct competitor to the client, so posting items like RS3 only clients should be fine.
