June 20, 201312 yr So today nod32 updated itself and then I tried to come osbot site and it doesent allow me. It says osbot site contains viruses.Proof. Sup? Like, nod32 didnt mention anything lately but today after update it seems site isnt safe anymore or?... Someone trying to steal our chars?
June 20, 201312 yr That's weird. It's probably just a false positive. I also use Nod32 and it didn't detect anything after my update.
June 20, 201312 yr OSBot doesn't contain a virus, I can assure you of that. Probably a false positive?
June 20, 201312 yr Just add an exception, OSBot is 100% safe but sometimes anti-viruses can pick it up as possibly being harmful which it is not.
June 20, 201312 yr They use IPB which does not contain viruses. I know this because I also use IPB for my website.
June 20, 201312 yr It's a false positive. There is nothing we can do about it except contact eset and tell them they're wrong and need to do a new analysis. Even if someone were stealing our passwords, I highly doubt an antivirus would detect it. You have nothing to worry about.
June 20, 201312 yr Administrator ESET NOD32 had the same problem in early 2012. You can read about it at: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=317320 I suspect we're dealing with a similar issue and that it is a false positive.
