I've thought for a while that the whole graphics section is at the bottom of the forum and unloved. Not much activity down there, its a bit like my penis at late.

Moving on, I do support this. (:

There used to be an event subsection, maybe bring it back and we can host the SOTW competition there. I noticed the thread gets the most attention when I just created it because of the recent topics sidebar. After that it slowly dies because not a lot of people know of its existance so if it was not on the bottom of the forum it might help bringing it back to life.

I don't understand why this isn't being supported more

 

@Maldesto - Yes maybe those weeks were skipped but lack of advertising in the field will obviously show a decline or plateau in interest for this 'Weekly event'. It's nice to see such entries, I literally don't know how to color a stickman but I admire all the work that gets put in simply cause I love art.

 

Please do keep going strong with SOTW, encourage more people to grab up graphic design and designing in general. Heck, post out some guides, tips & tricks that you use. If anything, I'd get into it even though my mind lacks creativity

If more support is expressed with this notion then the Administration team will create something to make sure SOTW is more popular and widely acknowledged. Yes, some weeks may have been slow and maybe even canceled at that, but we will do what we can to make sure advertisement is poured into the competition if this is carried through. Thank you for the suggestion, and I will make sure to keep watch over this thread to see if adding such a thing would be practical.

Definitely agree that some sort of Contests & Events section could be added in order to advertise instances like these a bit more.
