client does not open

I just downloaded newest jave and jave se 7 u25 then i downloaded client

 

when i try to open client nothing happens

 

when i hit open with, the default is java se.

 

 

But anyways nothing happens at all when i try to open the client =/

first - anyways do you have the most recent java download? and the most recent bot client? @bparty

I did this all today.

now when i try to open the black command box thing says Error::could not load main class c:/users........  is it supposed to be a .jar file?

yes the client should dowload as "OSbot 1.7.10.jar" @bparty

try to run this file from your desktop, also do you have this directory> C:/users/#youruser#/osbot and does it have 3 folder in it named "Data" "libs" and "Scripts"? @bparty

YES i have the osbot folder

same thing happens on my desktop

do you have a skype? add me so we can hammer this out. either way try running the bot through regular java, not java se. @bparty

anyways what do i do to open with java?

right click the osbot icon and click "open with" a selector will come up and it says "search web" "read about jar" and "open using already installed software" <<(click on this one) then click browse and find your program file with java in it and go to the folder named "bin" and open it with Javaw.exe

Download JDK here , Need that to open java client(.exe) SE is something else.

I had this problem, bot was working okay, then Java updated, bot didn't work anymore, I reverted back to old Java 7u21 works flawless again :)

maybe this is it, but 1.7.10 is supposed to support latest java

has been more than an hour since op last posted, assume fixed
