Regretz Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 So I made this stamp, i couldnt manage to get it so the sides werent so... crazy. I wanted to make it a bit more round but I gave up on it, after like 20 minutes lol. Just got frustrating for a small little project. Keep in mind this is my first time doing anything non text related. I've only used photoshop about 3 times :3 I've just seen a lot of guides, and although I'm no expert, I atleast know some basic knowledge of PS :P I really want to get into C4D to make my texts look nicer but It looks really complicated.
Swizzbeat Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Looks cool, however the R just looks like an overlay and not like its embedded in the wax 3
Regretz Posted April 17, 2014 Author Posted April 17, 2014 Looks cool, however the R just looks like an overlay and not like its embedded in the wax just an R with a bevel & contour but yeah i know what you mean. Just need to find the right font, and tweak it a bit.
Deffiliate Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I agree with swizz, maybe rotate/skew the "R" to make it match, and most of those old schools stamps had some type of logo or something in the stamp too. Apart from that, and the edges as you mentioned, it's defintiely a cool piece.
Basic Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 You should use inner shadow and change the base color/gradient to the same color/gradient you used on the wax. Which would give an actual indention look. Go take a look at my tutorials. also, cinema 4d is not hard at all.
Tony21412341 Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I think it looks cool as well, though you'd have to blend the R a bit better with the rest of the image
