Is osbot poorly optimized?

Featured Replies

I can run, WoW at high settings, any game at high settings and my CPU temp is always 40-50 celsius.

But when I run Osbot (1 bot),my cpu temp spikes up to 50-60 celsius? Doesn't happen when I use orion.

Why is this? I have 8gb ram, i3-2120 sandy bridge ( not the best but I mean come on it's runescape tongue.png )and a radeon 6850 1GB video card.

That makes complete sense.

Cause when I run orion or T-bot , my cpu heat stays under 50 celsius at all times.

8gb... i-3 core 50fps is good

Where in my thread did I say fps? I said celsius as in temperature facep.gif

Yeah, the client has a high CPU usage issue right now.

It'll hopefully be fixed in the near future, Laz seems to be bring OSBot 1 back up to where it should be, so we'll just have to wait it out :)

Let's hope it finally gets resolved. It would be interesting to see how many more bots we could run on our machines if they weren't eating as much CPU. Honestly this is probably the most important update to make.

Yeah, I used to be able to run ~8-10 accounts before i started feeling my computer lag, but now it starts to lag with 4-5 running, so basically lost half of the potential.

Yeah, very discouraging. This is the kind of issue that makes users consider seeking out alternative botting solutions.

Runescape in itself was made back when single core CPU's were pretty much all that were available. So naturally, it will run better on CPU's that are single core optimized - intel 3ghz+ or amd 4ghz+ processors (doesn't really matter # of cores)

You start seeing the benefit of OSBot with more cores when you run more than one RS window
