I was logging in after the client loaded up, got to the login screen and was about to click to play and it black screened the client but not the mini screen and then eventually the miniscreen black screened also. this was the error that occurred?

Restart your client. There was a hook that I pushed to the server after I had released it. This should no longer happen.
