I know every region/culture has their own opinions on hair style, but I came across a article that explains hair is much more than just cosmetic, rather was a vital key in human survival as we evolved.

Please read the article first before discussing, I always tend to see people just jump into topics that they have no idea about.

 

But what do you guys think about this?

 

Personally I feel the article is entirely correct, being a person that has had long hair twice, and shaving it almost completely off both times; I have experienced the odd disorientation of your surroundings, it's a hard feeling to describe, but I really do feel our hair is a lot more than just for looks.

But I decided to cut mine on Tuesday, and this time, I didn't feel much different, but my hair wasn't incredibly long.

It's just a drastic change that makes your hair roots feel weird due to not having a lot of weight on them anymore, so yea.

hate having long hair so annoying i have to wash it 10x more often than when having short hair mate if you go a while without washing long hair it feels/looks oily and ugly so id prefer short hair most da time :p

Just I wasn't as aware of my surrounds, its hard to explain the feeling becasue of how subtle it was, just I remember the awkward feeling I have only got when chopping a good amount of hair off.

I understand how you feel, I felt that way after I chopped it off when it was really really long.

My main habit is flipping my hair to the side, so now it feels awkward not having to do that lol.

No i dont shampoo every day lol.. thats not good for your scalp....... if i have longhair/grown out i have to do it once a day because it gets oily and shit after a day and dont feel good or w/e but if i get it cut/short i shampoo more like once every 2-3 days nub
