Failed- Network error

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am trying to download the latest version of OS bot (1.7.95) and when it is completed i click to open it and i get "Failed-Network error".

Could someone please tell me what the issue is?

Thanks

Your firewall may block it. I can't start the client at my job because of same issue but more information would help.

Have you tried disabling all of your firewalls and antiviruses?

Try making an exception for OSBot and it should let you download.

Are you still receiving this error? I will archive the thread in 24 hours if no response.

Hi,

For some reason i managed to finally open it without altering firewalls or antivirus systems. But again today, after the latest rs update im getting the same issue - Will double check firewalls etc.

Your internet connecting has issues stabalising which puts a hault in the download in which you always need to restart and the process repeats itself.

I suggest hooking up your computer via a cable if you are using a wireless one or call your service provider to fix their problem.

This can be due to a few reasons:

  • Your internet connection is having issues stabilising thus causing the download to stop. Once the download has stopped and is unable to contine, you will then receive the "Network Error" error. You will then have to repeat the process in an infinite loop.

  • The OSBot servers are under heavy DDoS attack and are unable to allow other users to connect to the main domain where the OSBot download file is held, you will need to wait until OSBot is secure and ready for users to download.

  • You have a program IE: Antivirus or Firewall blocking the download between your computer and the OSBot servers.

Example:

If you have Norton as an anti-virus, It is most likely the reason OSBot will not connect. You need to turn off the "Smart Firewall" for it to connect.

Hopefully this helps. Regards,
