June 15, 201312 yr This is the computer I setup toward the end of my first year of college. What do you guys think? It was a fairly high budget build, and I might need to buy an ethernet card because the motherboard one isn't working. I'd rather not do an RMA. June 15, 201312 yr Should have gotten a six or 8 core for only $50-$150 more. Still a beast computer.
June 15, 201312 yr Author It wasn't really needed. Four cores is really enough and more than what I need. It's not like I'm going to do anything extremely hardcore. But it still will stomp the crap out of 90% of the computers you buy pre-built.
June 15, 201312 yr That thing is a monster. I'm happy with my laptop though. It can support multiple bots and is very portable. Nothing to complain about with it.
June 15, 201312 yr Author The number I have down for tax records is $1636. For all they know, it was bought for school purposes, which is slightly true. I have a laptop as well which I bought due to it being required for school. $900 laptop. Can't remember the specs off the top of my head, and I don't feel like turning it on. lol.
June 16, 201312 yr That is one hell of a machine. I'm gonna take a guess and say you could probably handle 20-25 bots just fine. Anyways, super jelly. Edited June 16, 201312 yr by Rare
June 16, 201312 yr Author I probably could. But I'm not going to pay for that many RS accounts. And although I'd be supporting the site, I'm definitely not going to pay monthly for a VIP membership. lol.
