Because I haven't been able to successfully play RS on my web browsers I figured I can just use the client to play because it works just fine. So my question is can I still somehow be detected using the OSbot client even know I'm not running any scripts?

Bans are usually placed because of repeated patterns of behavior, so I don't think they can detect the client itself.

If you're concerned about that, you can always go download Orion, which is a nice external client.

Have you tried to scan it with any other antivirus programs?

It could just be a false positive.

I've used it for months, never had any issues.

If there was a virus. Everyone would quickly know about it. 

 

And I would probably be hacked

virustotal said something like 12/48 or something picked it up as a trojan, its a pain i have to turn off active scanning when i want to go staking (cuz orion duh), otherwise i just use Osbot. though i barely play anymore.
