I just randomly had the thought of using Cleverbot to allow 2 bots to PM each other to mimic a basic conversation.
It would be extremely easy to implement and it would help lift macro'ing bans as you could then plead the fact you were active at the time you were 'botting'? 

Thoughts ?

Very interesting ( and feasible ) concept.

 

The only way I would see this working is if you were able to create a database of active users running your script (usernames) and put a checker to see if any of those users are in your area/world. Would also work to link two account together via pm's as you said to just talk, but would look weird if two accounts just randomly added each other and had a lengthy convo.

 

Definitely an idea to play around with, may look into this myself.

Simply set the conversations to start on a randomised timer for x amount of messages with the final message being 'cya'.

You would also be able to set it to have conversations with multiple bots... Helping other users out?

Could do something like a clan chat?

 

A lot of people just join peoples clans and chat, very cool idea

Yeah but then Jagex finds out and logs onto the bot and sees who they pm then they know that they're a bot and they ban them

i used scripts including clever bot as chat responder.

 

still got bans.

 

Thought about this too, would be epic!
