Similar to the ranks of VIP/Sponsor Etc Etc have a new icon for chatbox addict. (or something like that)

 

Basically a rank for all those people who are continuously active within the chatbox. There would be a set amount of time you have to reach being in the chatbox, no sure what time this would be... And obviously this wouldn't be afka-able as you are timed out after a period of inactivity.

 

This would encourage more people to come into the chatbox, meaning more of the community socialising together which can only be a good thing right?

 

This would also look really cool.

UPDATED IDEA: You are able to apply for the rank and a chatbox assistant will first decide if you are worthy of this rank. Its then up to a mod/ supermod to grant the rank to you. This would prevent the spam in the chatbox for people trying to gain the rank.

 

There could also be be a forum addict idea implemented for X ammount of posts and X time online (Idea courtesy of Lightsy

I'm not too sure that we have a function that tracks time spent in the chatbox.

I could be wrong though.

So if we don't, there won't be a way to tell if someone deserves it or not.

& also, it isn't hard to idle in chatbox 24/7.

Hmm very true I suppose it could be down to the Chatbox Assistants? They could decide who they feel is worthy of the rank and how often they see these people in the chatbox? 

 

Its just a core idea atm

people botting for a rank is quite sad tbh, but chatbox assistants can just time people out who are spamming.

They should do it by amount of characters used over 4 weeks.

 

Make it a monthly award.

 

over the space of 4 weeks, all characters from every sentence you post in the chat box gets added up and if you reach a certain amount of characters then you will get the chat box addict award.

kinda bring back in the spamming part, you could spam topic titles which are quite long and you would reach the limit

I personally don't agree with this idea, much of my Online Time is spent in Chatbox, but I rarely talk, Hence not noticed as much. Just my thoughts.

I dont deserve anything. I have made an idea for being active in forums and chatbox. I know that people have been active in the forums for 111days and i only have 7. 

 

I have never said that I deserve it...

The whole point is making more people 'ACTIVE' in the chatbox and your condemning it.

It's just un-necessary work making Chatbox Assistants watch the whole time to see whos "On too much"

 

I'm not jealous, in no way do I want/deserve this rank as I've only joined the forums 2 weeks ago.
