March 2, 201411 yr So I am kinda paranoid and no knowledge in paying with paypal whatsoever. I am going to purchase a pair of shoes for 90 british pounds and he wants me to send money to him through paypal. He then continues to tell me I will be covered by PayPal and that he will send the shoes when he has received the money. Theres just one problem. I just made an account with paypal and I don't want to connect my credit card to PayPal but I just want to pay and remove the card so it does not stand there. Is it still possible to chargeback and how is the process going to be? - What do I do if it turns out he is a scammer? Please help me!
March 2, 201411 yr The best way to avoid scammers is to buy it off the official site, only tip I can give you.
March 2, 201411 yr Author Buy shoes from a store, it's your safest bet. The best way to avoid scammers is to buy it off the official site, only tip I can give you. It is but the problem is here hence why I am purchasing from a private seller is that the shoes are no longer being sold in stores, any at all.
March 2, 201411 yr or buy from ebay thats safe because they protect the buyers and help you if anything went wrong
March 2, 201411 yr Author First of all is he reputable member from the site you're buying your shoes from? Well somewhat, he owns a rank on the forums that costs about 10 bucks or so and has 200+ posts. Nothing special though. Send via service or goods for buyer protection But will it keep me safe 100% ? - I send him the money, 3 days go he takes the money onto his back account irl and I loose everything. I could be wrong though, I don't know how to handle if I got scammed; I don't have my credit card attached to my paypal account neither.
March 2, 201411 yr Make sure you dont send the money as a gift and include all infomation about the purchase and request tracking id and everything and you will be ok

Don't go first, £90 is way too much to be even considered to trust.
