ThomasDeWaters Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 can you put this into terms so someone as slow as me can understand? O_O Anyone who was a "privileged" user on the network a Maverick device was connected to could intercept your SSL data. Such as when you see the lock in the corner of a website and it is green, mainly credit cards, banks and other money / identity things. Just generally bad...

Alek Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 can you put this into terms so someone as slow as me can understand? O_O When you use your touchscreen to sync your iLife to your iPhone to play Angry Birds on retina display, everything works because it's Apple and all the users are damn ignorant. 2
Kittens Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 When you use your touchscreen to sync your iLife to your iPhone to play Angry Birds on retina display, everything works because it's Apple and all the users are damn ignorant. SoGood Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 (edited) bookmarked so I can refer idiots who tell me that macs can't get a virus to this page This isn't a virus. On a site note: Windows computers have always been more likely to get a virus as they have always been more popular / readily available. However in recent years as apple has gained popularity apple no longer claim there virus free but because there's so many more PC's in the world than Mac's then yes hackers etc have always targeted pc's over macs. Plus IIRC internet explorer had a SSL exploit for around 3 years without being fixed... Edited February 28, 2014 by SoGood
