Downloaded .83 today, the client itself loads smoothly and I can play manually with no problems. The moment I click on a script and it brings up the scripts setup the client just freezes and after minimizing the screen goes grey. I have been trying to resolve this issue for hours now. I have done everything that I could find on this topic including, deleting osbot folder, deleting all clients including .81 that worked perfect last night, cleared and deleted previous jagexcache, played on the actual runescape website for a few minutes in attempt to relearn the cache, downloaded the newest 1.7.83 client and corresponding osbot files/folder but still freezing on ANY script whether it be SDN, local, or even premium scripts I have purchased. If someone could walk me through this issue I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Do you have the latest versions of JDK, Java, and JRE?

i just downloaded JDK again correct me if im wrong but doesnt JRE come with the JDK? and also i do have the most current Java version. i attempted to start a script again but as soon as the setup for any script launches the actual game freezes i minimize that and open it back up and its a grey screen.

as of right now i have the most up to date JRE, JDK, and Java files available but still freezes as soon as i go to start any script.

JDK is not bunded with the JRE de facto. JDK stands for Java Development Kit, and should be used if you're planning to write Java code. JRE stands for Java Runtime Environment, or the "special sauce" that lets you run Java applications.

 

Perhaps the error you're experiencing is with the scripts you're trying to use? Could you give us the names and maybe somebody who knows about that script could tell you?

Does this happen with every script or just certain ones?
