bot randomly closing

Featured Replies

im running osbot, im trying for 99 defence at flesh crawlers, been leaving the bot on over night but when i wake the osbot page isnt even open and it looks like its only been running for 1-2 hours, im just wondering if it could be something to do with the settings? or the breaks? or is this a common problem?

i also logged on this morning, it had collected my nats, iron, ranarrs like i told it to, but it seems to have dropped my fire runes :s (it had 3k in inv before i logged)

You mean your OSBot client closed overnight?

It is a common problem that the client closes also the fire runes dropped may be related to the random event solver dropping it in a random event to make space.

Also please mention your CPU/ram specs and the ammount of clients/tabs you run it may be related to that.

You can set breaks to whatever you like may I ask what are your break settings and please answer was the client still open or did it crash when you woke up?

it wasnt open when i woke, the average interval is set at 120 mins , interval deviation at 30 mins, average break time 50 mins, break time deviation 25 mins i dont really understand what the deviation ones are, the other two seem quite often.. it runs for two hours then breaks for 50 minutes? what are the 2 other units for?

Deviation in break time and deviation in interval it's like randomization so you don't break at the same time everytime.

My last guess is it could be related to CPU/ram so please post ur specs if it isn't related to that I can't help you further in my experience I never have had this problem much but alot of others have maybe it's because I use linux most of the time running OSBot.

Your computer has RAM which is memory and a processor this are the 2 most important parts used for botting if they aren't good enough then your client can crash because they cannot handle the OSBot client.

You can get the specifications on windows by opening the start menu and right clicking computer and clicking property's tell me what it says or upload a screenshot.

ive pmed you a link:)

Thanks I think this is really the bare minimum you can run OSBot on and may be why you are getting crashed try to press CRTL+ALT+DEL and press windows task manager and when ur botting look at the CPU usage if it's about 80-90% that's defenitly not good let me know.

You can also enable low cpu option in OSBot by clicking on the settings button and then ticking low cpu option that will help to lower cpu usage.

im not botting atm, but will be in about 15 minutes or so, its currently running at 60-65%

Yeah in this case I really don't think anything I suggest will help because the cpu is just very very bad running it on low cpu is ur only option really.

Unless you want to buy a new pc/replace most of your computer parts.

hey, just thought i'd keep you updated, tried running the bot last night, came back to it it seems it had only ran around 40 minutes or so.. although ran it twice today for around 2 hours both times, slightly confused, seems to be running ok if im actually on the pc doing some other stuff, but when i leave it doesnt seem to be running effectively at all, btw when i was running the bot it was at about 70-100 cpu.. so i set it to low cpu that took it down to 60-70

Now that you are using the low CPU option do you have problems with the client closing still?

Yes 70-100% is high because at 100% windows can try to close other programs that use alot of CPU and that is OSBot so aslong as you don't use over 90% that shoulden't happen.
