Memory Leak?

Featured Replies

Osbot tends to close by itself sometimes. Im not sure why It happens but some people say its a memory leak? First of all what is tht and how can i fix it?

LOL guys look its mr white V2

A memory leak occurs when a computer program incorrectly manages memory allocations.

Unfortunately this memory leak within the OSBot client is causing a massive amount of CPU usage, in turn leading to the client force closing if your computer is unable to handle it.

As of right now, there is nothing you can do to fix it. It should be resolved in the next updated client version (OSBot 2.0), which has no ETA at the moment; however if you read the latest announcement regarding OSBot 2, you should expect it soon!

I understand you may be frustrated, but for now all we can do for is remain patient and hope for the best. ^_^

Unfortunately, no, do not expect OSBot 2.0 soon, unless you want to swap already weakly working client for even worse one.

It still needs lots of work, even some of the most basic stuff aren't working properly, and even god knows releasing it in this state will cause nothing more but mess. I'd say at least several months before first public release.

There is no way to fix the "memory leak". Luckily, it is fixed in OSBot 2 which should be released any day now.

This will be fixed with OSBot 2, currently it is just a matter of time.
