January 31, 201412 yr I'm looking to create a system dedicated to RuneScape botting. I'm experienced with computer building but looking for suggestions. Would you go i5, i7, Xeon, Dual Socket Xeon? How much RAM and what GPU? I'll be botting Old School 2007 RuneScape primarily. I'm looking to run well above 20 bots.Thanks. I used to run 20 bots on my 2600k, 6950, 16GB RAM system.
January 31, 201412 yr http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2KXKm That may not do 20 bots but atleast 15 for sure. I wouldn't spend the extra $100 on the i7 cause you will not be getting much more performance out of it when comparing it to the 8350.

Not sure what your price range is but a i7 3930k or 4930k 16Gb+ ram would do 20+ easy, gpu wise, on board is more then enough. If its specifically for botting you wont need much hd space 300-100 its all the same. mini tower ,good airflow, cheap, nothing big even needed. Wont need an amazing mobo, 50-150$ tops. OC your cpu 4.3, 4.5 ,5.0 your preference really The rig is overkill but hopefully you get the idea. GL
February 8, 201411 yr you should go for an i7 (high end) and ofcourse the best ram you can. atleast 16gb i say for ultimate botting.
