Updating Technique

How will the updates via Runescape which they do almost weekly to the client affect the bot? Most sites I have to re download the client. Will I have to do it here?

I honestly find this very annoying, I have to also fix up my eclipse whenever I do this, half the times I'm not even on my wi-fi and can't download it when scripting.

I hope they just add an auto-updater, so you don't have to re-download the client everytime they update.

i think it has been mentioned somewhere i read the client will have at some point an auto update feature so that when OSRS is updated the client wont be affected causing its users e.g us not having to re-download. This is a standard feature for better software. To have to keep downloading the most up to date feature from the website is stupidity.

i have great hopes for this website, there team seem capable and the client looks very promising. I hope the API grows to be comprehensive.

RuneScape client updates are pushed automatically. It's when we release a new version of the actual bot that you'll have to redownload. We're going to change this in the future though so that all updates happen on the fly.

Sounds great. It will be a lot better.
