Clients Crashing Theory/Discussion

Featured Replies

Update Java. Simple as that. So far it's been running 2 hours past what it usually does before the client closes, it even auto signed in for the first time in 2 days. If you need help on to do so, a 1-4 step little guide.

1. Uninstall all Java on your computer (add or remove programs)

2. Go to Oracle(java) and find your computer type to find the correct download for JDK7
( link here - http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html - If you don't trust me, I understand. Go search JDK 7 on oracle and it'll bring up the same site.
3. Close all devices that run Java on your computer, then run the installation.

4. restart your computer.

It's worked for me so far, if it crashes again i'll update/edit my post so no one wastes their time on doing this.

Highly likely that it's memory leak, but I don't understand why it closes instead of crashing. I would buy VIP or Sponser but I can barely not without babysitting my laptop. If anybody has any info on this Java theory please let us know!

A friend of mine told me about it. It looks promising so far, i'll quote you in 2-3 hours before the Barca game and see if it hasn't crashed. If it did, i'll just delete that post.

You may not be the adverts, it may be the memory leaks. Since free users tend to use alot more scripts and same for VIP. It it is possible that it could be both. Onother factor could be the users computer. My big main issue is this damn memory leak, they said this will be fixed in osbot2. But wouldn't the files of the memory leakage from osbot 1 still be in the CPU? And if that is true, how can we get rid of them? That's my main question.

i just got back to my client being close again, but it only happens on my new desktop, never used to happen on my mac, and about adverts, 80% of the time, no advert actually shows, just the X to close down the add moves up the screen if that helps? thanks!

Update java. It was that issue for me. On a 9 hour w/o client crash/close.

You have to account for the bias of amount of free members vs amount of vip vs amount of sponsors that post each day. Once you have the ratios of each, factor that into the data you have. If you still see large variations, yes you could have found a problem, but it is likely to vanish when you include the bias.

Uhhhhhhh add me onto the sponsor list because I've had my client close on myself so many more times than just once.............

Mine always crashes, had to restort to different resource, until it is sorted out here.

I considered that into the count, but even still, the fact that many VIP/Sponsor members, including yourself and myself, have stated that when they had VIP/Sponsor, this problem never occurred, so it wouldn't really matter about the balance thing.

The statistics of the table means nothing swizz, this discussion has NOTHING to do with that table, it's just something I gathered up and made an observation with, and came to a conclusion of adverts.

ADVERTS is what this topic is about OR other reasons. NOT the table.

If it's on sponsor too then it's not only free members?
