Client closing when asleep / go out

Featured Replies

Say if i was to sit at my laptop for 24 hours the bot/client wouldnt close, but when i go to sleep / go out it seems to close and i wake up with sadly no exp done :'( this has been happening for about a week now and ive never had this problem before, any suggestions?

Same has happened twice to me, just been putting up with it, not long till OSBot 2 comes out anyway

I had a similar problem which i solved by running bot inside a virtualmachine that had a fresh install of windows and only java and jdk

The client closes out when runescape has an update.. Like this morning there was an update... And the other day there was an update. This should clear some things up.. If it continues delete all Osbot files and client and re-install it all.

Could it possibly a CPU issue?

I mean, unless you could catch an error if you run it during the day.

I was just sitting here watching myself bot NMZ, look away to roll up a cig and its closed..CPU is not the issue.

hmm im not sure not really good with computers into depth, you able to help mate?

Its not a cpu problem, Ive done lots of test to try and fix the problem myself. I think it is java related or Operating system related. I had the same problem for a long time and no help from developers. A clean install of operating system and only installing java and jdk fixed the problem for myself.

Same problem, asked a fair amount of users on osbot and they all come up with the CPU usage problem.
Finding it a hard problem to pinpoint my CPU when my build is:

CPU: i5 @ 3.5 Ghz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GBx2 @ 1600 Mhz DDR3
GPU: Nvidia GTX 660 2GB GDDR5 @ 6008 Mhz

Plenty of fans to cool the whole thing and plus I live in the U.K so it's cold anyway. Only just started doing this and once it closes and you go to open the client, it automatically signs out your account so you have to sign in and then start the bot. Slightly frustrating when you think that you're coming back to an awesome proggie, but you actually come back to waisted electricity and nothing to show for it.

Edit: Spelling error
