How do you increase the FPS on the client?

Featured Replies

Hello all. I have been experiencing very low FPS on my client (1-5). It makes the game look laggy (although it is not because I am directly connected by ethernet). Does anyone have a trick to increase FPS on the client? Thanks!

Try turning off all the debugs on the client besides FPS, make sure everything else is un-checked. Usually that is a quickfix to common lag, hope this helps.

My guess would be as always: to run Java 7 (64 bit  if you run 64 bit, otherwise 32) latest version. I've seen this happen for people with 32 bit outdated Java on 64 bit machines etc. But if that doesn't work, I would have no idea. Almost nobody is experiencing this.

I am running Java 7 64-bit I believe we were talking on skype when I updated ;)

It occurs when but not limited to this scenario...

I'll have 4 tabs open and close 1. After I reopen that 4th tab I closed for whatever reason it will lag and thus cause all tabs to lag.

Maybe having multiple .jar's running may fix this? Why is it that you aren't allowed to run multiple ? To prevent non-vip on running more then one tab i'm pretty sure...?

Ok I found out that it was launching the 32bit Java instead of the 64 bit java, so i just reinstalled 64bit and then it started launching from 64 bit automatically
