ChicagoVPS - Guinea Pig Mode Activated

Featured Replies

I recently purchased a VPS with ChicagoVPS, a company known for bad uptime, extreme over selling and terrible support. Why? Because it's been over a year since anyone I could find bitching about them had actually even owned a VPS with Chicago.
I will be logging the first month below.

VPS Specs:

5BFmw.pngCPU
13.6 GHz (shared)
5BFmC.png RAM
2048 MB
5BFmA.png SSD Cached Disk
50 GB
5BFmy.png Bandwidth
2048 GB

Speedtest:

Experienced no lagg at all, insane internet speeds and I seemed to of had the whole CPU to myself.

Day 2:

Experienced slight lagg for ~1hour, was only enough to slow the bot I was using by 5-10% (xp+cash gains). Speeds went back to normal after this time.
Internet speeds were still up around the 800-900mb/s mark.

Days 3/4/5

No lagg experienced on the server its self; seems to be about the same speed as days 1.
Internet wise, downloads (as expected) have slown slightly - Getting ~600Mb/s download, 925Mb/s upload currently.

Chicago vps is in Toronto.. hmm...

Buffalo they claim, though seems to get lower ping and higher speeds to Toronto servers.
