Maximum word/character count per post?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if there is a maximum word/character count per post?

I'm going to make a large guide, but in other forums I have had to reserve over 10 posts for my guides due to them having a maximum of 10000 characters per post.

Is there a limit in OSBot or can I do everything in the singular post?

Cheers

Whats that :o can I just copy everything from word??? last time I did a guide I spent 19 hours re editing the effects afterwards :s

Go ahead and post it, it should all fit into one. I just attempted to test the maximum length of a post and it crashed my chrome. :s

After some quick research I found that posts are stored in MySQL using the mediumtext data type, which supports a maximum of 16,777,215 characters.

Hopefully this helps :)
