A lot of stuff has been going on lately within the community that I don't like.

First off is the fact i cant run more than 1-2 accounts on my computer at one time, while just a few months ago I was running 5+ overnight. This has nothing to do with the computer I'm using and I know others are having the same issues...The client should be able to support more accounts with a higher FPS as it progresses, not the other way around.

 

The next is the constant BS going on between ranks. By this I mean ranks being unfairly promoted over others, distrust among community members because of choices, so on and so fourth. 

 

Another point to go along with this is the owner almost never being there.  The only time he's on is to lock a thread because it criticizes his absence. The owner of the company should be the one MOST involved within the community, regardless of how busy he is in school and such.

 

The next issue I have is the fact that there are problems with broken scripts and billing, as well as the time it takes for scripts to be approved and added to the SDN. As much revenue as the cite is generating this should have been fixed a long time ago, although I understand adding a quality script takes time to look through the code and go through testing.

 

I Don't understand how the bot can flawlessly execute any random event solver in earlier versions of the client, but now all of a sudden you cant run a script overnight without being trapped in one. This is another thing that should be fixed by now but version upon version later, users are still experiencing the same problems.

 

Finally I want to point out that OSbot is gonna start having competition from other botting clients, if it doesn't already, which is why things need to start changing for the better now.

 

This thread is meant to be constructive criticism and to express my opinions/concern for the well-being of the community,

not to be an ass or single anybody out so please don't take offence. Hopefully all of this will be resolved soon, and if anyone has anything to add discuss it below.

All there really is to say is that nothing is perfect and never will be, there's corruption everywhere and I've seen it a lot worse in other communities, things as they stand are fine now in my eyes, as OSBot 2.0 should be coming soon, and it looks promising, until that happens I think everyone should hold their tongues with the complaining and just be respectful. 

They are working on the CPU issues with the release of Osbot 2. It will be fixed and it will be dramatically decreased.

 

The ranks are going through some changes due to the whole staff besides the developers leaving. We can't help that, all we can do is hope to pick the best staff possible. This site has seen many scenery changes, and yet continues to strive and push forward as the best Old School bot out there.

 

The owners of the site are Laz/Maxi. They are developers, they appoint me, as community manager to handle the community. That is why my title is the way it is. You don't see burger king owner at the store watching over it. They have behind the scenes issues, them logging into the forums has no effect on how much work they put into the bot. 

 

The threads you are referring to are never asking where he is or why he is inactive, they are only targeting threads that bash him for not being active and call him worthless. Read the rules, no one that gets their thread locked is questioning where he is, but acting like immature children by throwing him under the bus and flaming him.

 

 

We have went through a whole staff change within 2 weeks. The old administrator sit on the scripts for a week and didn't upload one. The scripts were backed up, since we have a new scripts manager @Alek We have had 2 updates a day on the scripts. He is now uploading scripts as he just learned. Within 1-2 weeks the whole SDN will be totally under control and upload request or script updates will be up to date and won't be backed up again while we are here.

 

 

The random activator isn't working properly the developers are aware of this. The randoms still work for the most part, it just depends on how the activator is working. I've ran the bot for 36 out of 48 hours flawlessly not stuck once. The reason it was working great before is same reason the client has had so many updates, because Runescape updates which means we have to update, which causes things to break. That is how it works, that is why you don't release one version and it work forever.

 

We already have competitors out there and have had since before we even launched. With all the problems we have been going through recently with the lack of Maxi due to personal reasons + whole staff change, we still are the most popular bot out there. That is just goes to show we are the best bot out there. We will continue to improve, Osbot 2 will show the whole 07 community why we are the best. It is expected release on New Years.

We have an excellent staff team starting from @jason all the way down to our chat box moderator @Lee we all work hard and try to solve all questions and give you the best answers we can, when we don't know the answer we won't sit around and tell you we don't know we will ask you to wait and try to find the answer be it ask someone else or search for the answer until we can get it for you.
