I started a small goldfarm on eye of newts (5 accs), made 10m in 2 days, transferred the night before, the 5 accs got banned. This was almost a week ago.

 

My main with 99 fletch was the one to collect the items, and it's fine.

 

My ip is probably flagged(?), but so far I'm on 600k wcing exp all botted in very remote areas on one single brand new account. I had also been using ATMercher on another account on and off selling the newts, no bans so far.

 

I want to start goldfarming, beginning with about 10 accs. Should I get a VPN/VPS now before i get any accs going?

 

The bot I'm using for woodcutting is the AIO Woodcutter in the store for $9. (http://osbot.org/forum/store/product/91-def-nerds-aio-woodcutter/)

 

 

 

Questions I have, feel free to answer none/all:

 

1) I have 10m 07 and about 60m tied up in items at the moment, should a VPN be really mandatory, or can I wait till I made a few mil off a few accounts?

2) How much time does it take to manage 10 accs, 20, 50 100?

3) Is woodcutting relatively good for farming? I'm running custom paths to bank in extremely remote areas (never see one person here, cutting yews), if not, what would be a better option?

4) I'm running usually about 10 hours a day per acc (with breaks enabled between those 10 hours), is that relatively safe?

5) Is my IP flagged?

6) I'm quite sure your IP isn't reset by resetting router, only resets your local IP for the router to recognize, same with a VM, it uses same IP with a different local IP for the router, can this be confirmed please?

7) Should I be worried about my main being banned?

1) A good VPS is fine for gold farming. You want to have a couple VPS's just incase one is flagged and you don't suffer that much.

2) It takes a good 30 minutes to start the VPS(s) log onto them and start the scripts, and another 10 minutes to make sure they are running properly. This goes for 10 accounts.

3) Woodcutting is too mainstream IMO. It's still very profitable but eventually your spot will be breached. For the moment, exploit the chance you received and start brainstorming for the future

4) Botting in general is never safe. Would you play around 10 hours a day constantly chopping yews?

5) I don't know, is it? :P

6) Your IP can be reset if it is dynamic. If you go to 198.162.1.1 and configure some options there, your IPS might support dynamic IPs. This goes for the IP the internet uses to identify you. IIRC, your computer has an IP and your internet has an IP.

7) If your IP is flagged, then yes. Also, move your stock randomly, don't have a set schedule for it.

Thanks for the reply and I'm table trading (dropping items on a table, I think this can't be detected by Jagex, because you can't drop trade money in eoc on new accounts with a limit, but you can table trade them, also I used to come across 100~ accounts a day and transfer their items all to one account using table trading) so I think that might be safe for now.

Table trading sounds like a good idea :p

I don't think drop trading or anything really makes a difference. From what I've heard all the gold/items is simply tracked by Jagex, so they can see where it goes/where it's been, doesn't matter how it got there.

If you're seriously looking into goldfarming, you should invest in a solid VPN and be prepared to switch over after bans.

2) How much time does it take to manage 10 accs, 20, 50 100? For 10 accounts you should be able to handle on your own although it won't be very easy, for 20 you will probably need to get a person or 2 to help you out, 50 you will need at least 3-5 people to effectively manage the accounts, for 100 a staff of 10 is recommended. As for time, depending on how much you want to put in or how serious you are about this I would say anywhere from a few hours a day to 7+ hours per day if you have time. It all depends on the amount of accounts you want to run and if you set a target amount of gold to reach by the end of month/week/day.

3) Is woodcutting relatively good for farming? I'm running custom paths to bank in extremely remote areas (never see one person here, cutting yews), if not, what would be a better option? I personally prefer fishing for farming as you can get 1000-1400 per shark (cooked). Both woodcutting and fishing are great ways to farm gold, it is mostly up to preference. (There are also other methods i.e. combat)

4) I'm running usually about 10 hours a day per acc (with breaks enabled between those 10 hours), is that relatively safe? It honestly depends on your script, if it is made by a trustworthy and well-known scripter who has many vouches and other scripts and has a good anti-ban you should be relatively safe. Always know that there is a chance to be banned, regardless of anti-ban or not.

5) Is my IP flagged? You never know, if you have previous bans/offenses it most likely is.

6) I'm quite sure your IP isn't reset by resetting router, only resets your local IP for the router to recognize, same with a VM, it uses same IP with a different local IP for the router, can this be confirmed please? Resetting your router will reset your WAN IP if you have a dynamic IP instead of a static IP. This is not a surefire way to get off of Jagex's radar though.

7) Should I be worried about my main being banned? As long as you don't bot on it then there isn't much to worry about, you just need to make sure that Jagex doesn't affiliate you with it. If you get flagged then you should be a little more careful. (You will know you are flagged if all your accounts get banned and your new ones also get banned once you create them)

Just be safe. Jagex are banning so many players right now.

Your IP is most likely flagged, because I recall JaGeX stating that if they find any accounts guilty of macroing they will put a much closer eye on all other accounts run by the user.

I'm in the same boat as you. Currently opened 2 accounts, hoping i can expend to 5 by end of next week. ideally 25 by end of month. I eventually want to run 100 accounts, monitored solely by me as a way to help get through college. It'd be cool to keep in touch and share ideas. Let me know.
