Thoughts On This Laptop?

Featured Replies

Not bad, if it's for that price and only needed for college. If it was for something else, such as gamging or video editting, I'd suggest something more powerful.

Surprisingly, this is excellent for the price.

i had ppl discourage me from buying it saying it wont last long overall like the laptop itself not the hardware inside.......... so yeah ........ you think alek itd last 3 or so years mate?.................

also i just recently bought a ussed black macbook for school/uni and it runs flawless :) alek still answer my question above i want to know mate.

The hp laptop is fine except for the 5400 rpm harddrive. That is too slow for most tasks. The lenovo that was mentioned is not bad either except that the graphics card sucks.....and if you ever have to deal with their bullshit built in network software you will be pulling hair...at least from my experience.. I would stay away from macs. overpriced/ unnecessary, and expensive if there is ever a problem with even something as small as a power charger. For a computer that you will use to play games/media and school, the Hp is fine, and I would recommend over the others mentioned. The only thing I would do is replace the hard drive and reformat it back to windows 7 lol XD I hate windows 8.
