Is it worth coming back?

Featured Replies

I've taken a break from Osbot, and i don't plan on coming back yet, but like next month i might start being active again. I've seen that Osbot has been hit hard by a competitor i guess, and lost most of the people that made the site what it is.

Should i stick around? Or make a fresh start on this new site (i dont even know what the site is, just that alot of Osbot people are going to it)

I think Osbot being part of the reason why i didn't quit RS is a good enough reason to stay

Umm, expanding territory is a natural state of nature, by the way, we can't tell you what to do, decide yourself.

what? that doesnt answer my question lol.

I just havn't been around to really know whats been going on, but apparently its a big deal.

Im asking if the community feels that its worth it to stick around, since this other sites been taking over i guess.

Idk enough to make an informed opinion, so thats why i don't wanna decide for myself obviously >.>

They aren't "taking over".

The development team thinks of the new competitor as a rival, it will fuel the developers to update more and keep their product better.

It is worth it to stay.

tl;dr shitstorm:

Lots of mods disagreed with Laz/Maxi(and the recent decision he made, which was to demote MC because he was an administrator on the competitors forums) so they tried to make a statement by resigning (Somewhat worked) and now most of them are staff on the competitors site.

What you said doesn't make any sense, Osbot doesnt seem to be expanding, and there's always been competitors, but they never effected Osbot as directly as this new one has. Im just wondering whatsup and somebody already explained it for me. Your attempt at explaining it was pretty shitty, just sayin

The reason they snagged some of our users is because they spammed advertisements everywhere on our forum. Plus lots of friends of the old staff members went with them... It's their loss tbh. \:

and you're welcome! :)

It's not shitty, you are just not even trying to understand what I'm saying bra.

What I meant, was it does not hurt to be active on more than one website.

From the scripter's kind of view, OSBot is currently a little more advanced, but it's still early alpha of the other bot, which suggests OSBot will be overtaken in the near future, unless admins plan to actually start develop actively here.

From ordinary user kind of view, OSBot has lots of scripts, the other one atm does not.

The staff team didn't resign because of Master Chief's demotion. They resigned because they were tired of their work in general and of the developers. It wasn't and still isn't their intention to bring over a message.

For my own resigning; I had my own personal and private reasons. I knew already that I had to resign around this date, months ago.

OT: Although you want our opinions, it's still your choice where you would like to be.
