I guess i'd comment on this, i believe god is a creation of man kind, he manifests himself through us. It is a power in this universe that helps who follows in time of need.

But anyways some people choose not to believe or choose not to follow, this is their decision and no matter how hard you try you can't change who they are as a person and change what they believe in, don't take it out on someone else for not believing in something you do. By doing this you are separating us as humans and discriminating/judging people by what they believe

Do you actually believe that the entire scientific community is just making shit up when they say an event occurred millions of years ago? We have radiometric dating as you've already stated (although for some reason you think it's flawed?). There's also the fact that you can trace fossil records back and see the evolution of humans (which already dates back over 100,000 years), you can go to a museum and see this for yourself. You can also look at the layers of rock which build up from millions of years of volcanic eruptions, and see all the different rock layers. You can trace back tectonic shift and see how the continents fit together (which would take millions of years to occur).

 

There's also the fact that the universe is billions of years old. Since you appear to believe in the big bounce idea then I don't see how you wouldn't at least place the age of the universe in the billions, so I think that you probably aren't a young earth creationist and are just playing devil's advocate or something.

 

I don't understand why creationists bother using science to try and prove the earth is 6000 years old (well, mostly just trying to disprove anything which says it is older), wouldn't it be easier to just say "God created everything the way it is 6000 years ago", so then anything could appear to be any age? Like I could say everything was created yesterday, and everything was just put in place the way it is, it would lead to a lot less debates because you could go back to the faith side of things and be happy that nobody can say you're wrong.

 

And about your video, the guy in the video is very passive aggressive, but obviously a good speaker at least...It seems the entire time he's trying to prove being atheist is a belief just like being a Christian is a belief (correct me if I got that wrong, cause then the rest of this is pointless). When you put it in that perspective it makes it look like either choice is valid, and is subjective. 

 

In the real world though we tend not to believe things without evidence, that is everything is false until proven true. And as some guy said "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence", I think it was Richard Dawkins, I dunno. 

 

The athiest guy in the video was just trying to say atheism is not a belief in the same way a religion is a belief, because it does not require a leap in logic (i.e, saying something exists without evidence). The bearded guy just kept saying "atheists believe things and christians believe things" but it wasn't really the point...
