can't get osbot to work

Featured Replies

This might not work, but I've heard it helps.

Step 1: Go into your Control Panel

Step 2: Go into "Programs" and hit "Uninstall a Program"

Step 3: Uninstall EVERYTHING Java related, yes EVERYTHING.

Step 4: Delete everything OSBot related, including the bot and  your scripts folder. IF you have scripts that you want to keep, make sure to put the folder somewhere like on your desktop.

Step 5: Redownload everything Java related --> http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_xpi.jsp

Step 6: Redownload OSBot v1.5.5 --> http://www.osbot.org (Scroll down to the download)

Step 7: Run the bot with no scripts, make sure it is working, if its all set, then go ahead and add your scripts back. If it stops working again I suggest using different scripts.

Again, I'm not sure if this works completely but its worth a try, tell me how it goes.

Try use this command prompt to run the client so we can see the errors so we can assist you better.

"C:\Program Files\Java\YOURJDKHERE\bin\java" -jar osbot 1.5.5.jar -dev

it says "Error: Unable to access jarfile osbot"

Most likely your firewall blocking OSBot try look though your firewall.

delete your osbot folders (keep a copy of scripts)

and re download osbot after you delete them, then if that doesn't work its your connection probably

Can you run

java -jar "osbot 1.5.5.jar"

Note that this is slightly different from Peter's version (quotes around "osbot 1.5.5.jar"). You may have to change the command if you renamed your file.
