Yes, I had my bot running while this happened. Also yes i restored it where every single file was deleted off my Laptop. I'll download Malware bytes right now

If the ratter doesn't use a proxy, then the IP can be backtraced..?

Won't solve a thing if it's crypted.

Backtraced and then what?

You're gunna get a subpena signed by a judge to order the ISP to give up the guys info?

IP is useless.

Download, and then run a full scan on all your drivers in Safe Mode.

Should fix your problem, also, make sure when you leave your bot running, don't leave teamviewer open, people can connect to your computer.

Okay thanks Smart, but not quite sure how to go into safe mode on this specific Laptop, it's an ASUS. Know how?

Hold down F8 on start up I am pretty sure, tell me if that does not work

(Some ASUS models you might have to do ESC or Delete key)

Goodluck and I hope your situation gets worked out.

EDIT: Also, come back and tell me if the scan picked something up and what kind of virus it was.

Good crypter viruses (a.k.a being RATed) can last for months even years to be detected by any virus/malware scanner, best is to do a reinstall of your OS, because restoring to a specific date isnt a good idea because you don't know when you got infected. It could have gotten infected before the restoring date so this is why reinstalling your hole OS would be the best thing to do. You can also check if your RATed by going to your    Start menu and type in "msconfig" and go to startup, here you will see all the programs that will be started when your computer starts. Search for any suspicious names and uncheck them. This wil prevent the virus from  starting up and doing any harm. MAKE SURE NOT TO UNCHECK things that you don't know what they do, always make sure to google the programs first before you uncheck them.

Windows button + R type in msconfig.

I personally open runescape in the SMART client from Simba when logging in for the first time of the day. It takes a snapshot of the IP before you enter the world and stores it in your app data. Has helped me identify hackers on two different occasions.

yes , I called Paypal and claimed Unauthorized. And yes I had Teamviewer downloaded a long time ago but when it happened it wasn't downloaded. Also i'm not sure how to do a clean install of windows, is Factory settings better/ok?

Completely reformat your hard-drive to factory settings, then proceed to reset your registry and use CCleaner after re-installation.

Your registry is clean anyways after a clean installation of windows...?
