1/3 = .33 repeated

   +1/3

  ---------

     3/3

3/3 = 1, but also .99 repeating smile.png

Obviously it repeats 1, over 0.5 repeats to 1.

I learned that in kindergarden.

Did you also learn grammar and spelling in "kindergarden"?   (it's "kindergarten" and your comma usage is horrific)

I don't like when people get all smug about stuff like this and use words/phrases such as "obviously" and "I learned that in kindergarten." They are trying to prove superiority to other people about topics that, in reality, do not matter. It isn't about his grammar. I don't care if he can or can't spell. I don't care if he can use commas or not. I do care, however, about his attitude towards other people.

Ok well if thats truely the case then you should attack him being rude and not his spelling... Or his comma usage...

If you care about his attitude towards other people more so than his grammer then attack the attitude and not the grammar. I would understand if that were to happen, but coming on here and attacking something which doesn't even bother you that much while having an underlining meaning is stupid and thus being a Dick.

I'm just pointing the obvious fact when everyone should know the answer lol.

Your other post was so grammatically nonsensical that I don't even know what you think the answer is... Plus, if it is so obvious, there wouldn't be a six page argument about what is the right answer.

xD

1/9 cannot be properly expressed in decimal notation, because it is an exact value. It can be expressed as a fraction or as an infinitely repeating decimal, but 1.999... cannot be treated the same way as 1.999 when noting patterns.

1.999... is not a completely expressed value. You also cannot properly add two infinitely repeating decimals.

Spoiler, use fractions instead of infinitely repeating decimals because infinitely repeating decimals are bullshit.

tl;dr

1/9 = 1/9

3/9 = 1/3

9/9 = 1
