EDIT: this banned account got banned prior to my mass ban, so i wouldnt have been ip flagged at this time

Yes, RuneScape has bot a bot detection system as I've said before. They just don't auto-ban yet. I'm sure they are implementing the same system they use on RS3 which has got rid of almost all bots.

o: dat looks like it could be bad news

Your IP is flagged, and they thought it likely that the account you were logging onto will be botted on in the future so they banned it to scare you.

They always say stuff like this. I've seen countless emails back last year saying they were banned and they detected the account was using the p****bot client, but yet they used a different bot. It's their scare tactic.

this was before my mass ban

I TOLD YOU JAGEX CAN DETECT THE CLIENT.

when i posted that i was told i was stupid because the client runs with reflections and what not.

But i also said jagex can detect wether your using there game client or not.

All they have to do is implement a code to execute when THERE client in running, and when Osbot client runs it doesn't execute jagex's special code

Thus they know you are not using runescape.com

Glad i knew what i was talking about.

So... is there anyway around this or are you just basically fucked if you loggin from bot client?

Idk... honestly jagex is getting smart with bot detection, it seems more and more people are getting banned everyday and faster than they can create new accounts.

Eventually.. every botter will be stuck at lvl 3 again...

I doubt they can.. If they could then how are there so many people with huge botfarms and not getting mass bans?

(Not saying that sometimes goldfarmers dont get banned)

I doubt it. I think it's because your IP was flagged but they didn't ban your other accounts yet

^ exactly, if this was true none of my accounts would be up atm.

Because there are about 10million os accounts, do you think it's that easy to go through all of those accounts to determine if there botting?

They leave it up to botwatch and other players to report and get players banned, as for botwatch it probably can detect your client, its java, not hard to make a line a code to return weither there using a real client or a fake one...

Jagex has professional java scripters, im sure they can figure things out
