Hi everyone, i just wanted some opinions on weather the Dragon axe is worth the investment when you are just botting on the account.

 

Obviously my main concern is buying a D axe then getting banned without getting use out of it, BUT even if i do get use, is it actually worth it?

I read on the 2007 RS wiki that it's 5-10% faster then the rune axe,.. So what do you guys think?

Once i hit 75 woodcutting, should i move straight onto magics or stick with yews?

With a Dragon Axe at 74 Woodcutting I get 200 Yews per hour if that helps. I'm not sure how many I'd get with a Rune axe.

once i hit 74 wc i'll see how many i get p/h then we can compare ^^ i'm 73 at the moment

 

EDIT: Infact at 73 im getting around 110 per hour,.. so it definitely is worth it.

Are you botting that? It could also depend on the script.

I'm chopping at Catherby Yews using a script I wrote

I used a d axe to chop all the way up to over 90+ wcing. It really depends on luck. You do chop more if you use a d axe, but as you said if you get banned, it is not worth it. The decision is entirely up to you.

 

If you are a farmer, use rune axe.

Then just use a rune axe.

use a dragon axe and cut yews, you will cut mages way too slow

Heard it was like 15% better then rune

I only run 1 account but I see dragon axe being worth it, because you can just sell it too ye know

If 10-15% extra logs per hour on average is worth the 1.4M ban risk, then do it. If not don't :P
