Banned 1 month ago, safe to go?

Featured Replies

Ok guys, so I have a question here about my account. I had the account botting at rockcrabs without breaks, and got bot busted by a mod. Got a 2 day ban and unbanned later. Apparently the second ban is permanent. I value the account account pretty high because most the levels have been legit, but I still want to bot it because its a pain at higher levels.

My question is, IS IT SAFE TO BOT AGAIN WITH ENOUGH BREAK ETC. Or is my IP monitored etc? Any tips and people who have been bosted before etc? Can I bot while babysitting or not at all or bot with enough breaks, what are the odds of being banned again. I understand there is always a chance of being banned by bot bust, but besides that?

Thanks in advance

Botting is never safe, it's upto you if you want to bot...Always a chance you'll get banned again and they will be looking at your account more closely since it's already banned.

My question is, IS IT SAFE TO BOT AGAIN WITH ENOUGH BREAK ETC. - never safe. If you 'value' the account and dont want to risk it, botting isn't for you. i've had many 2 days bot bust bans, haven't been perm banned for it yet though.

Botting is never truly 'safe' as it is hard to say if your account is being monitored. Jagex obviously must monitor accounts more closely once they have had a ban to see if they are repeat offenders?

If you really don't want to risk the account cut down the time you bot significantly and increase your break times/lengths.

The easy answer: It's never safe to bot.

I got unbanned from 2 day ban a few days ago, and I'm botting again - not botting overnight etc atm tho, and watching the bot more, but of course never bot on an account you care alot about.

I feel you man same situation, happened on my legit account too sleep.png, I have enough Gp's to enjoy the game without botting, so im going wait a bit to finish up my botting goal soon and then play legit for this accounts remainder.

My Advice

-If you have the patience, wait till you hear of less bans, and all the recent bans are cooling down. "Banwave" is going on so your not safe anywhere.

-If you do bot, keep it to a minimum at past midnight GMT(Less J mods?)

Again non of it is 100%, just my advice and what I plan to do as well.

Botting is for fools, who can't play legit.

It's never safe to bot post count on this thread: 6.

my point: we already fucking know its not safe to bot! he's asking if its safer after he's waited one month of no botting after a 2 day ban! the only person who actually gave good advice is jkbapeh! the rest need to stop post whoring and actually contribute instead of working towards a cosmetic title on a fucking forum.

my advice to OP:

I'd say you are a lot safer but you can't really be sure. Nobody can be sure how or when jagex bans bots. all we know is that bot busting is manual, and most others are from the system detecting you(not sure on the latter). Last time i got a 2-day bot busting ban on my main, I stopped botting for about a month and a half, and then started botting sharks like crazy again. Yes you should not bot without taking 30-1h long breaks every 3 hours. it's the safest(in my opinion) besides botting for 30 minutes and breaking for 6 hours, or something crazy like that. I also don't think they would flag your ip if you were manually banned.

Only problem to this is you have no idea how it actually works...

The only way to actually be safe is to simply NOT BOT.

If you are botting you are taking a risk, No matter what. (breaks or not) End of discussion

/thread

I wouldn't bot on high ban rate areas. For example, rock crabs, experiments, fishing, wc etc... and keep the botting to a minimum of 6 hours or so a day with a few breaks thrown in and you should be fine.
