So my homeroom teacher than I had is very close to me but hasn't necessarily tough me a subject academically.

Shes and Alumini from Georgetown in DC and I'm striving my ass to get into that college.

My grades are far from perfect but I scored a 2150 on my SAT. [1400 on a 1600 scale] - second take I took my Junior year

I was thinking about going to CC for a year, to save money and to better off show colleges that I am now capable of getting a 4.0+ and being a great overall student.

So basically to cut to the chase is the letter going to help?

If she hasn't taught you a subject academically, I don't really think a letter from her will mean much.
