How do I bot on my own private server?

Featured Replies

I'm having a hard time finding information on this. I'd like to host my private server so I can write bots that I never intend to put on a real server. I would actually prefer if the private server was old to be as close to 07 as possible. I just think it'd be fun for me and my friends to write bots and have them compete.

Most of the info I find are guides on how to set botting up for today's production servers. I also understand the client I use needs to support botting or something like that. Just looking to get pointed in the right direction. Thank you.

Dude it'd be a lot easier to "compete with your friends" in the main game

I'd rather not have to worry about evading bans and all that. Plus hosting my own server would let me tweak things like xp rates
