Definiton: Running your bot 24/7 with no breaks because you just don't give a shit.

But does this really make a difference?

Several Osbot members believe that whether your account is taking 15 minute breaks or not just doesn't determine when jagex is going to ban you, which means the only time that they believe you should stop your bot is to transfer items, and that breaks are just a waste of time.

Based on experience, what do you believe?

Personally, I believe breaks make a difference because whenever I've tried to suicide bot, the account seems to get banned a lot quicker.

Yes, it makes a differencet u cant bot 24/7 without getting banned.

They make a difference...

Bot sudoku nonstop = ban in 8 hours max

Bot sudoku with 20 mins break every 1 and half hour = no bans for weeks

In my experience with myself and 3 friends of mine, breaks have made absolutely no difference over 200+ accounts during 3 months of botting. Having your bot logout and relogin may help, but the duration of the break has no influence on ban rates.

Believe whatever you want, but I surely won't be wasting any time with long breaks. I'm mad enough as it is that the 2 minute minimum break with a  minimum 1 minute deviation still equates to a 4 minute break sometimes. Who knows how that works out.

i dont think so, thats all i do is suicide bot and i have week straight long proggies with no breaks... got banned on 6 accounts total out of 25 and those accounts even ran for a good 2 days before recieving bans

i dont think it matters i keep getting all of my fucking bot ban and im onlly running them 3 hours

Hey there ^_^ just giving feedback, im a 24/7 botter, i always go 24/7 (no point in going halfway), and i can say breaks do help in a way, i usually run up to 12 accs at a time, never rotating or any of that stuff, and i have never recieved a ban on either 07 or eoc and ive botted like this for around 3-4 years. the break isnt actually that long, it just breaks the login time for it :P

Yep. They do matter. I have spoken to Mod M**** about botting on several occasions via Skype. He is an ex-j-mod.

From personal experience, yes, I would still say they make a massive difference.

Ive been using breaks and haven't been banned in about a month.

I've been botting combat 24/7 for about 6 days non stop.. At a spot with no people and randoms.. And there wasn't any signs of incoming bans.. So it all depends on the spot you're botting at.

i dont think it matters about breaks just be smart on what world u go on. Mainly i think the world u go on is the number one reason if u get banned or not. If ur chopping yews in a popular spot on w301 of course ur getting banned within hours, use soemthing like w346  and you will be fine. I made a mule and literally botted  maples 45-60 and 60-87 woodcut off yews almost nonstop ( client problems half way thro made me stop for half a day ) but yea he didnt get banned, i was using a popular spot too west of catherby but i always use unusual worlds with hardly anyone on. Soooo honestly im shocked my mule hasnt gotten even 1 ban yet i made him like lvl 48 cb just to not look obvious think its working out well.

Also if ur using a level 3 get some combat levels......   -.-   anyone lvl 3 is pretty much automatically associated with botting so be a lil smart dont be lvl 3 and use weird worlds not mainstream w301 or w330

I did 78 hours afew months ago, nothing happened was doing bow strings.

Yes it make a difference

When i run my bots 24/7 i got banned in the same week i created account

Now i'm using breaks and i got 1 account with member finish and 4/5 with 1 week member left and with 0 bans

So yes this make a difference
