What Is Going On!?!

Featured Replies

Before 1.7.53 I did not have this problem, now Im getting maxed out with heavy lag. Pretty sure its CPU lag, but idk. Ill include pictures of my specs below. Just trying to figure out what is going on, and what I should do to get this fixed so I can bot more than 4 accounts again.

Obviously my CPU is the bottle neck, but i just dont understand why other people, with fewer cores, at a much lower clock speed, can handle twice as many if not more bots.

Feel free to virus scan links, its just a image hosting website.

If you need any other info feel free to ask, been trying to get this fixed for a while.

Showing you specs doesn't help much.

How about open up task manager and see exactly what is eating up how much RAM/CPU etc.

Also use image tags for your images please so we don't have to click on them.

Added, and because of the format, it wouldnt let me... again idk why... sorry

if you restart your computer does it continue to have that much cpu usage?

that awkward moment when we have the same ram and gpu but im useing a intel i5 3570k and your useing AMD ;) hahaha

How many windows are you running per client?

Try to limit each client to 2 windows to avoid a huge memory leak issue.

Id be more than happy to try this, so when i want to run 8 bots, i will need 4 clients open? Would that use less cpu/ram than say if i ran two clients with 4 bots, or 1 with 8?

I'm not quite positive about the ram / cpu usage, but I do know that it will reduce the FPS lag, which is what I'm assuming you're referring to about heavy lag.

yes exactly what im talking about! However, im not sure if it is related, but switching between tabs can take sometimes 10 seconds between the click, and the actuall switch to the other tab. Thank you for your help as always :)

Is this slow switching with only 2 tabs per client, or all tabs in 1 client?

Also, I'm not too sure how much of an effect this program I use is, but I've been using memory cleaner for quite some time now, seems to clear unnecessary stuff to speed up the computer a bit.

well... heres what i know so far.... 1 client @ 3 windows = 5-15 fps    3 clients @ 1 window = 45-55 fps

The logic here is beyond me... but ill update you when i get all my bots on

Yeah, it's the memory leak that causes the FPS issue.

I have an i5 3570 & a $250 video card, and i still get fps lag with like 3+ tabs per client.

tysm for your help! got 8 bots going @ a solid 50 fps!

No problem, glad you got it fixed. :)

This issue should hopefully be fixed with the OSBot 2 client.

The fps drop is due to not enough memory being allocated to the client I think ( or the client doesn't request enough memory, I dunno). Anyways, this problem only occurs on Windows operating system from what I've seen. On linux I can run as many tabs as I want without the massive fps drop, but on windows I gotta limit it to around 1 or 2 per client.

You're actual cpu usage shouldn't be much different either way though. Having more clients open will increase you're ram usage as opposed to more tabs though.
