Featured Replies

i recently reboot my computer so i have to redownloaded  java, jdk, winrar,  osbot, and eclipse. but now i have a giant issue
when i download osbot its save as a .jar file but the file type is a WinRAR archives. What do i do?

You need to download Java first.

If you have that than right click and select open with > choose program

Change extension to .jar instead of .rar/.zip

The extension is already .jar

Make sure the bot name isn't osbot 1.4.1.jar.zip, click show extensions and then change the name.

No it's not .zip.jar just .jar

Yes i have java, It has to do with how you open the program, it's being open with winRAR.

Can someone go to your osbot, right click tell me what it's being opened (the full name) with and where ill be able to find the file

Open WinRAR and in the menu bar press Options > Setting. In the setting window there tab called Integration press is and make sure that JAR checkbox is unchecked. That should fix your problem.

I did that but it didn't work.

But I think I has to involve with the way you open the file because when I change the way you open osbot, the icon of all .jar changes. So I'm guess if I find the location of the right java it could work.

Last resort ill uninstall java, Winrar, osbot. And reinstall them.

bump still isnt fixed

Please confirm that your java directory is:

C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin

If it is, choose "Open With" for the .jar, and add the directory:

C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe
