what is the current rate/chance of getting perma ban with botting? i'm thinking of doing some botting soon so i really would like to know the current rates in some way. I've heard the rates are pretty high but haven't gotten any confirmations.

i have run accounts at places where there are alot of bots e.g flax, catherby, crabs etc and been banned within 2 days. yet on my main which is training in th emiddle of nowhere for 20+ hours per day hasn't recieved one ban.

seriously though, i have 3 accounts and i have been botting 24/7 on all of them. So far only 1 was banned for 2 days and they are all farming green drags. really just luck of the draw.

nice, are you botting green drags in less popular place or just botting in popular place like chaos tunnels? 

imo, the only way anything is lucked based is if a jmod personally goes on a bot busting spree himself and finds you which is a slim slim chance. Botting is about as safe as you make it. I run bots 12hrs+ a day with multiple breaks. A good example would be...

 

Bot 3 hours (20min variance of when to break)

Break for 45 mins (with 20 min variance)

rinse and repeat

 

If you bot for 24 hours then expect your risk of getting banned to skyrocket up. Don't be a complete moron with it and bot wisely. People say its based all on luck, but the only way luck is involved is how many accounts they ban of yours at once. So smart botting > suicide botting, even though the gold per day is lower you get the long run aspect of keeping your account lol.  

 

If you roam around the forums and see all of these people getting banned, 90% of the time its the case where they bot for 15 hours plus WITHOUT BREAKS and just expect jagex to not touch their accounts like they have no idea what they're doing. Don't listen to some people's bs when they clearly botted rediculously dumb. Obviously some areas have higher ban rates than other (flax, red chins, etc), but the solution to that is just add excessive breaks into your sequence.
