Game Client Patching

I'm looking to use purely the osbot client for the tasks at hand.

Do I have to patch runelite/hdos if im only using osb and not connecting it to hdos/runelite?

You only need to patch if you want to use osbot with a jagex account
As a jagex acc requires you to launch through the jagex launcher OR you can use the osbot manager

how does it come i can't patch HDOS to my osbot client ?

So If I understand Its not possible to make my own scripts If I need to patch to runelite
