How much bandwidth does Runescape use?

Featured Replies

on minimal displays etc, how much would the average account use? i realise if you're running around loading alot etc it will use more but has anyone got some rough statistics? either combat running and banking or something like alching where you are constantly spam clicking yet not moving. Iv seen some sites say 30mb+ per hour on HIGH settings and others like 10mb...& can u get the bytes per second up on osrs?

Not too much, shouldn't max out at over 3mb an hour I think, assuming you run your computer 24/7

Uses almost no bandwidth, shouldn't be a problem if you have atleast 2mbit

thanks for the replies, just outa pure interest :)

Mostly everything is already downloaded on your computer, so it's really not loading as much as you think.

The only thing it has to communicate to the server for is when you do things like click, send a message, go into combat, etc.

Uses less than 4 MB.

mb is very different from Mb, which is very different from MB. All 3 of you answered differently, im assuming you all meant Mb.
