MrCovidB
Since a few days I saw several reports of people's Botting client that freezes after a script is started. I'm also using a Mac OS system and am running in the same problem, but as previous posts didn't use the demanded template I figured to start this thread hoping it gets looked into. My first thought was there was an update on any of the platforms using (OSRS, OSBOT, JAVA or MAC OS). On first sight nothing changed but I noticed I could do an update on MAC OS and JAVA JDK, so I did both of these updates. Restarted the system but the OSBOT client is still freezing. What version of OSBot do you use? -> OSBot 2.7.12 What JAVA version do you use? -> jdk-8u401-macosx-aarch64.dmg Which plan do you use? VIP/Monthly/Lifetime -> No current plan Are you launching trough CLI or GUI? -> GUI Can you send a screenshot of the menu you are having issues in and the logger output whenever possible. (Cover your credentials) https://ibb.co/vcGTvVR Describe the issue -> After the stealth mode was chosen the Botting client starts up and everything seems normal. After loading is completed if you either first log in manually or just start a new script and let the script try to log you in, the Botting client freezes before anything happens. Only the OnPaint method gets called as it shows the paint of a script I developed my self as you can see in the picture I added above. It's impossible to stop the chosen script, start another script, use the close or minimalize button's all you can do is terminate the Botting client by using Mac OS task manager or by right clicking 'quit' in the application bar. Altho OSRS isn't crashing after selecting a script; for example on the login screen you can see the two fire beacons still move but they're shivering. Same thing if you login the game manually, you can see the game is still running as other people run by for example but also in a very low FPS. What are the steps - and in what order - to replicate the issue? (Adding account -> adding proxy etc) -> See above Extra info; I'm using Mac OS Monterey 12.7.2 Kind Regards, CovidB
futixx
This is the best explanation of all the topics these past hours. Exactly this! I think the developers are aware of this right now, but this is usefull information for them.
